Catherine J. Goron, 83, of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Redstone Highlands in Greensburg. She was born May 24, 1932 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Joseph R., Sr. and Jane (Duncan) King.  Prior to retirement she was employed by Troutmans. She was a member of St. Paul Parish and an honorary member of St. Paul Rosary Altar Society. Catherine enjoyed her family, friends, music, dancing and loved her Pittsburgh sports teams and was very proud of her strong Irish heritage.   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, Edward L., and Joseph R.   She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond C. Goron, 3 sons: Francis M. Goron, of Cincinnati, OH, Michael R. Goron, and Patrick J. Goron, both of Greensburg; 2 grandchildren: Michael C. Goron and Lydia J. Goron, both of Plano, TX; a brother, Patrick H. King and his wife Claire, of Mt. Lebanon and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 10:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 AM in St.Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. The Rosary Altar Society of St. Paul Parish will pray the rosary at 3 PM Monday in the funeral home.
