Donald Perruquet, 87, of Greensburg, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home. He was born November 11, 1928 in Greensburg, a son of the late Caesar J. and Marie (Ksoko) Perruquet. Prior to retirement had been employed by McKinney Drilling Co. for 44 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood, a former member of the Latrobe Elks, an Army Veteran serving in WWII and a 1946 graduate of Greensburg High School where he lettered in basketball, baseball and golf. Don enjoyed playing golf his whole life. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother: Leonard. He is survived by his wife of 39 years: Louise A. (Genard) Perruquet; a sister: Jean Wood of Arizona; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews. Don’s life was fulfilled by four special people: Mary, Maddy, Michael and Daniel. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:15 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood.
