Frank R. Fanchalsky, 96, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Walnut Ridge Memory Care, Greensburg. He was born October 6, 1921 in Trauger, a son of the late John and Mary (Sabo) Fanchalsky. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Brown-Boveri Electric, Inc., South Greensburg. He was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church and American Legion Post #981, both of South Greensburg. He was an Army Veteran serving in WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, David P. Fanchalsky on March 1, 2002; and by all his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dora (Curnow) Fanchalsky; his son; Jeffrey R. Fanchalsky, of Fayetteville; his daughter, Susan B. Fanchalsky, of Southwest Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.
