Gregory S. Moose, 58, of Greensburg, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at his home. He was born August 5, 1959 in Columbus, Georgia, a son of Harold R. and Ivy Yvonne (Bortz) Moose, of Greensburg. Prior to his disability, he had been a senior real estate representative at First Energy. He was protestant by faith. He had been an umpire for WPIAL and American Legion baseball. He was a Hempfield Basketball referee and a Hempfield Recreation coach for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter, coaching his children’s sports teams, riding his Harley, and playing ping pong and corn hole.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Harold E. and Myrtle Moose; and maternal grandparents: James and Ivy Bortz. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Sharon L. (Guttman) Moose; his daughter: Brittany N. Moose, of Greensburg and her significant other, Paul Palmer; his son: Ryan G. Moose, of Greensburg and his significant other, Corrin Regginello; a granddaughter: Aerianna; his brother: Donald C. Moose and his wife Leigh, of Greensburg; his uncle: Ronald Moose, of Pittsburgh; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces. A private family viewing and service will be held at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. The family would like to thank all of Greg’s family and friends that gave him love and support over the past four years.
