John D. “Jack” Petroy, Jr., 72, of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 12, 2017 in his home.  He was born August 28, 1944 in Greensburg, a son of the late John D., Sr. and Mary E. (Cremonese) Petroy.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by the Tribune-Review and later the Area Agency on Aging.  He was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg and was a Navy Veteran.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister: Virginia Kloock; and an infant sister: Victoria Lynn Petroy.  He is survived by his wife: Rhonda L. (Kemerer) Petroy; his children: Suzanne, John III (Jodi), Mary, Vicki, Nichole, Ian, Neil and Ben; 10 grandchildren: Jillian, Ian, Caitlyn, Jocelyn, Andrew, Gabby, Bella, Tori, Ryan and Bradley; four great-grandchildren; three brothers: Claude R. Petroy and wife Arlene of Greensburg, Vincent G. Petroy and wife Donna of the state of Indiana and Rev. Dominic Petroy, OSB, St. Vincent Archabbey; and several nieces and nephews.  Jack also joins his buddy Mercury.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Blind Association, 911 S.
