Joseph M. Sirgey, 69, of Unity Township, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at home.  He was born February 24, 1948 in Latrobe, the son of the late Frank S. and Anna Bell (Sirgey) Olenick.  He was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School and served with the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Prior to retirement Joe worked for Stone and Company and previously for St. Clair Supply both in Greensburg.  He was a member of Fox Hill Social Club in Greensburg and enjoyed golfing.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy C. (Marino) Sirgey.  He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Marie Kepple and husband Kevin of Derry, his sister, Roseanna M. Olenick of Unity Township, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Wednesday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time a funeral liturgy will be held with The Rev. Daniel O’Keefe, O.S.B. as celebrant.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Arnold Palmer Cancer Center.
