Richard E. “Dickie” Kemp, Jr., 64, of Derry, died Monday, September 25, 2017 in Derry Township.  He was born December 31, 1952 in Latrobe, a son of the late Richard E. Sr. and Josephine (Hricik) Kemp.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Richard Bossart, Jr. and David Sorosky, and a nephew Ryan Kemp.  He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Lorah and husband Robert of New Kensington, his son, Douglas Kemp and wife Edwina of Derry, and 4 grandchildren.  Dickie is also survived by sisters Deborah Bossart (Robert Burke) of Latrobe, Judy Sorosky of Derry, and Ellen Kemp of Latrobe, a brother, David Kemp (Kellie) of New Alexandria, uncle Harry Kemp (Linda) of New Alexandria, nieces and nephews, Sharon (Brian) Schmucker, Jody Bossart (Scott Karazsia), Jayson (Andrea) Kabala, Nathan (Rachel) Kemp, Eric Kemp (fiancée Shelbi Gradischek) and Miranda Kemp, great nieces and nephews, Tyler and Travis Schmucker and Addison Kemp, and many cousins.  He will also be loved and missed by many, many friends.  At Dickie’s request, arrangements are private.  Leo M.
