Roy M. McKay, 84, of Greensburg, died Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Greensburg Care Center. He was born January 26, 1934, in Irwin, a son of the late Thomas and Anna (Carr) McKay. Prior to retirement he had been employed by W. T. Grant Company in the Greensburg Shopping Center. He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. He was an Army veteran, a member of several bowling leagues, loved to travel and was a 1953 graduate of Greensburg High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise McKay. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine E. (Harrold) McKay; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Jean Brunot, of Greensburg. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. The family would like to thank Greensburg Care Center and Senior Helpers for their excellent care.
