Roy M. McKay

Roy M. McKay, 84, of Greensburg, died Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Greensburg Care Center.  He was born January 26, 1934, in Irwin, a son of the late Thomas and Anna (Carr) McKay.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by W. T. Grant Company in the Greensburg Shopping Center.  He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. He was an Army veteran, a member of several bowling leagues, loved to travel and was a 1953 graduate of Greensburg High School. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise McKay. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elaine E. (Harrold) McKay; and his brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Jean Brunot, of Greensburg. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
