Zellamarie McDougall, 91, a resident of Redstone Highlands, Greensburg died Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born August 17, 1924 in Grove City a daughter of the late Marion E. and Marie (Mumford) McDougall.  Prior to retirement she had been a teacher in Wisconsin and the Greensburg area. She was a member of East Main Street Presbyterian Church, Grove City, where she proudly served as a deacon for many years. She was a graduate of Grove City College and received her Master’s degree in special education from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a member of the DAR, Grove City Women’s Club, NEA, PSEA, and WEA.  She was past president of the Westmoreland County Medical Auxiliary.  She was proud of her Scottish heritage.  One of the highlights of her life was a trip to her ancestral home in Oban, Scotland, where she met the current McDougall clan chieftain.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers: twin brothers, Harold and Clair McDougall and Homer McDougall. She is survived by :  a son, Dr. Vance Barber and his wife Betsy, of Greensburg; 2 daughters, Candace DeYoung and her husband, Richard, of Bridgeville and Suzanne Barber of Greensburg; 4 grandchildren: Gregory Barber, Annie Breaux, Marcus DeYoung and Alyssa DeYoung and 2 great grandchildren.  Friends will be received from 6-8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will begin at 8PM.  Private interment will be held Saturday in the Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mercer Aware Partners in the Prevention of Violence, 109 South Sharpsville Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
