Sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. When the enemy death strikes, words are never enough at a time like this, but know that caring thoughts are with you. Find comfort in knowing that God has promised to "swallow up death forever" (Isaiah 25:8) and that “he will resurrect our dear loved ones who have passed away” (John 5:28) (jw.org)

Mrs Thropp,
So sorry to hear about Charlie. I live in Chicago now, near my daughter and 2 grandsons, but always remember fondly the two of you dancing at the SWG Firehall Christmas parties. I used to just love watching the two of you out on the dance floor. Those were some great times. My condolences to you and your family.

Chuck was one of the best baseball coaches I had growing up. I also remember fishing with him for years at the Cabin in Laurel Hill. He’ll be missed. Best wishes to his family at this time of sorrow.
