Daniel J. Fallat, 64, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Dan was born October 26, 1953 in Greensburg, beloved son of Virginia A. (Lipyance) Fallat, of Greensburg. He graduated in 1971 from Greensburg Salem High School. He proudly served six years in the Army National Guard. He had a strong work ethic. He worked multiple jobs throughout his life including Robertshaw, Elliott, Sears and Westmoreland Hospital. He was most recently employed by Omnova in Jeannette. Dan was an avid Civil War, American history and astronomy enthusiast. He loved to watch Penn State football, play games and spend time with his family. He could fix anything, our own handyman. He enjoyed caring for his cats. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pamela S. (George) Fallat, of Greensburg; his two daughters whom he cherished, Christie E. (Fallat) Kuczinski, of Mt. Washington and Holly M. (Fallat) Pichtel and husband Bobby, of Chantilly, VA; his four dear grandchildren, Adam, Monica, June and Ruby Pichtel; his sister, Marlene (Fallat) Cifra, of Greensburg; his brother-in-law, Paul George and wife Janet, of Greensburg; his nephews, Jeremy Cifra, Trevor Cifra and Alex George, all of Greensburg; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.
