Dorothy Jean Rocker, 72, of Unity Township, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at home. She was born May 1, 1946, in Claridge, the daughter of the late Albin and Mary (Kosoglow) Bohinc. Prior to retirement, Jean worked 31 years as a registered nurse at the former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish, Latrobe. Jean enjoyed family vacations, cruises and travelling, liked going to the casinos and loved spending time with her grandchildren and close friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Rocker; two daughters, Kristen R. Reynolds and husband, Dan, of Steven's City, Va., and Allison A. Brown and husband, Craig, of Hempfield Township; four grandchildren, Brianna and Nathan Reynolds and Madeline and Maura Brown; her brother, Richard Bohinc and wife, Patricia, of Cary, N.C.; her niece, Jillian Bohinc; and a great-niece, Kaylee Bohinc. At Jean's request, there will be no public visitation or viewing. Family and friends are invited to a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe.
