Helen P. (Palenchar) Woodman, 85, of Greensburg, died peacefully Monday, January 8, 2018.  She was born January 26, 1932 in Carpentertown, a daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Puhala) Palenchar.  She formerly had been employed by Bell Telephone Company and I.T.E. of South Greensburg.  She and her late husband enjoyed 55 years of working together in many different endeavors that made a great impact on Greensburg.  Helen was a kind woman who enjoyed sharing her cooking and baking, especially her nut rolls and coconut cream pies.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William D. Woodman on August 13, 2016; and five brothers, John, Andrew, Joseph, William and Albert Palenchar.  She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Handlan and husband Jeffrey; her sons, William Douglas Woodman and wife Tracey Rowe, and Brian Woodman and wife Kelly, all of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey Handlan; five step-grandsons, Tyler and Tanner Rowe, Nicholas Borsuk-Woodman, and Anthony and Joseph Borsuk; her brother, Michael Palenchar and wife Judy of Greensburg; several sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Hillview Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
