James J. Baker, Jr.

James J. Baker Jr., 59, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital surrounded by family and friends.  James was born June 13, 1959 in Greensburg, the son of James J. Baker Sr., of Greensburg, and the late Gertrude (Beehner) Baker.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George L. and Mary E. (Miller) Baker; maternal grandparents, Benjamin C. “Cal” and Elizabeth (Hunter) Beehner; his mother, Gertrude; and younger brother, Stephen C. Baker.  He is survived by his father, James; sister, Kathryn (David) Chisolm, of Jeannette; brother, Gerald T. (Ingrid) Baker, of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Denise (Stephen) Baker, of Greensburg; nieces, Alyssa  Baker and Sarra Baker; nephew, Jarred Baker, all of Greensburg; niece, Megan Eder, of  Middle River, Maryland; paternal aunt, Lois (Joseph) Crystaloski; maternal aunts, Jane (Robert) Croushore and Joy (Paul) Beehner;  and numerous friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of James from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M.
