Theresa M. (Marnell) Corsi

Theresa M. Corsi, 84, of South Greensburg, died Thursday, January 10, 2019 in her home.  She was born October 19, 1934 in Slickville, a daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Tamone) Marnell.  Prior to retirement she had been a registered nurse.  She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Pascoe “Pat” Marnell.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis J. Corsi, Sr.; their children, Louis J. Corsi, Jr. and wife Janet, of Irwin, Celeste Corsi, and David P. Corsi and wife Mary, all of Greensburg; the apples of her eye, her three grandchildren, Kylie Greene (Levi), Jonathan Corsi (Emily), and Dominic Corsi; four great-grandchildren, Hudson, Finnley, Bingham, and Aria; three sisters, Delores Roy, of Greensburg, Nancy McCloughan, of Richmond, VA, and Bernadette Olsen and husband John, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Honoring Theresa’s request, there will be no public visitation.  Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  Everyone please go directly to the church.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association.  LEO M.
