Donald Romagnoli Obituary

Donald N. Romagnoli, 83, of Southwest Greensburg, died Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.  He was born April 7, 1938, in Greensburg to the late Andrea “Andrew” and Assunta “Susie” (Iezzi) Romagnoli.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Frank Romagnoli, Betty Piantine, and infant sisters Mary and Elizabeth Romagnoli; brothers-in-law, Leonard DeFabo, Vaughn Piantine, and Heinz Betzelt; sisters-in-law, Lucy Romagnoli, Traudl Hirschman, and Monica Betzelt; step-daughters, Margaret Hutchison and Kathy Budd; and grandson, Justin Snyder.  Donald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ilse (Betzelt) Romagnoli; son, Dino “Dean” (Rick) Romagnoli; step-son, Joseph Mance; sister, Gloria DeFabo; brothers-in-law, Heinz Hirschman and Gunther Betzelt; sister-in-law, Erika Betzelt; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Private family services will be at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Private entombment in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.  The family would like to thank the staff at Hempfield Manor and Three Rivers Hospice for their compassionate and loving care.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Donald’s name to Animal Friends of Westmoreland.  www.bachafh.com
