Elaine E. (Harrold) McKay

Elaine E. (Harrold) McKay, 82, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg.  She was born November 14, 1939, in Hempfield Township, a daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mildred (Kaylor) Harrold.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Thrift Drug Store.  She was an extremely active member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg.  She sang in the choir and the church was very important to her.  Elaine loved to travel with her husband Roy.  They had visited the lower 48 states and Alaska.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. McKay; and her brother, Thomas Harrold, Jr.  She is survived by her sister, Jean Brunot (Jay); and was a beloved special aunt to nephews and niece, Jim Brunot (Cynthia), J.D. Brunot Jr., Jonathan Brunot (Mary Ann), Thomas Harrold III, and Tammy Goetze (Karl).  She is also survived by four great-nephews, Justin, Nathan, and Evan Brunot, and Brandon Larsen.  Friends will be received from 4 to 6 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Friday at Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601 where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM with the Rev. Caroline Clifford officiating.  Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  The family would like to thank Ridgeview Personal Care home and St. Anne’s Home for their kind and compassionate care.  www.bachafh.com
