Elizabeth S. (Swank) Kelly

Elizabeth S. Kelly, 88, of Unity Township, died Sunday, March 20, 2022 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born July 4, 1933 in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Clinton E. and Maude (Barker) Swank.  She was a graduate of Vandergrift High School and Penn State University.  Libby was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, YWCA Bowling League, HIEH and the 51 Card Club.  She was also a member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church, Greensburg.  Libby’s greatest love and joy was time with family and friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Kelly, her brother, Joseph McKee Swank, two sisters, Ruth Swank Jones (John) and Margaret Swank Guyaux (Albert) and a nephew, Robert J. Guyaux.  She is survived by her children, Kathryn Kelly of Denver, CO, William S. Kelly and wife Sandra of Long Island, NY, Jeffrey P. Kelly and wife Renee of Derry, Brian P. Kelly and wife Julie of Denver, CO and Jennifer Kelly Szolek and husband Daniel of Poland, OH, eight grandchildren, Jesse White (Emily), DeOnna Kelly Frazier (Chris), Tressa Kelly, Jenna Kelly, Laurel Kelly, Rowan Kelly, Kenzie Szolke and Kelly Szolek, three great granddaughters, Aletheia and Cadence White and Tatum Frazier, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and many friends.  Friends will be received from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Thursday in Charter Oak United Methodist Church, 449 Frye Farm Road, Greensburg, with The Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating.  Please go directly to the church on Thursday.  Private interment will be in Plum Creek Cemetery, Plum Borough.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the William Kelly Westmoreland County 4H Scholarship Fund or to Charter Oak United Methodist Church.
