Eugene L. Blystone

Eugene L. Blystone, 82, of Greensburg, died Monday, June 13, 2022, in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  He was born July 23, 1939, in Irwin, a son of the late Kenneth and Catherine (Walthour) Blystone.  Prior to retirement he had been employed first by Elliott Company for 17 years and retired from PennDot in 1999 after 15 years.  After retirement, he enjoyed spending time in Bradenton, FL and at his property in Crawford County.  He had a great sense of humor and only became funnier with age.  He was kind and generous and would contribute to any charity or anyone in need.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Bruce, Carl, Dennis and Gary Blystone. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy (Bronson) Blystone; a sister, Delores Vieceli; a brother, Wayne Blystone; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 PM with the Rev. Kevin R. Haley officiating.  Private interment will follow in St. Paul Reformed Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.  www.bachafh.com
