Judy Leona (Downes) Steiner

Judy Leona (Downes) Steiner, 61, of Jeannette, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at home with loved ones surrounding her.  She was born March 19, 1961, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Floyd D. Downes Sr. and Myrna L. (Pratt) Downes. 

She worked as a dispatcher for All States Transportation/Shasko Logistics, but her life was riding her motorcycle alongside her devoted husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a devoted Christian who share the goodness of God with everyone.  She was a member of Word of Life, Greensburg. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Downes Jr.  She is survived by her husband, John Steiner; children, Jaclyn Robinson, Barry Walters Jr. (Heidi), Nicole Miller (Mitchel), Stephanie Steiner, and Denise Steiner; grandchildren, Ariana, Dominic, Alysa, Alexis, Braelyn, Mallauri, Makenzie, Jaden, Haley, Savannah, and Samarah; and a brother, Joseph Downes Sr. (Radene). 

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Thomas Walters officiating.  Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.  www.bachafh.com
