Kimberly S. Szymanski, 49, of Unity Township, died Friday, August 6, 2021 at home. She was born November 21, 1971 in Trenton, NJ, a daughter of the late Francis George and Sherry Mae (Curran) Micklo. Kim loved being a waitress, most recently at Eat N Park in Latrobe and previously at Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Resorts. She enjoyed county fairs, gardening, spending time with her children and family, watching food tv shows and just relaxing. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy F. Micklo. She is survived by her husband, Daniel D. Szymanski, two sons, Owen Daniel and Alex David Szymanski both at home, her sister-in-law, Ginger Micklo, nephew Tyler Micklo (Larissa), niece Marissa Micklo and great niece Oakley Mae Micklo. It was Kim’s wishes that there will be no services. Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity, is assisting with arrangements.
