Nancy J. Smith

Nancy J. Smith, 78, of Greensburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, August 9, 2025, in Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh.  She was born July 14, 1947, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Miller) Atkinson. She attended Word of Life Church, Greensburg and enjoyed playing bingo at Greensburg No. 7 Fire Department. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Baldwin and Margie Sides; and her granddaughter, Ashley Atkinson.  She is survived by her son, Leroy Atkinson, Sr. (Bonnie); her daughter, Lois Pazicni; two grandchildren, Angel and Leroy Atkinson, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, Precious. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 10 AM Thursday in the funeral with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.  Interment will follow in Harrold Zion Church Cemetery, Greensburg.  www.bachafh.com
