Nathan J. Overly

Nathan J. Overly, 38, of New Derry, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 22, 1984, in Latrobe, a son of Timothy S. and Sandra L. (Bell) Overly, of Ligonier. He was a graduate of Ligonier Valley High School, Class of 2003, then served in the Navy until his disability. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Ethel Overly; and his maternal grandmother, Henrietta "Peggy" Bell. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Overly; two stepchildren, Dillon and Kiera Roddy; his sister, Julie Overly (Chris Nemcheck), of Lancaster; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Bell, of Latrobe; several aunts and uncles; and multiple cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, with a funeral service to be held at 6 p.m. Family and friends are also invited to a gathering starting at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Overly residence.
