Phyllis J. (McBeth) Teaters

Phyllis J. Teaters, 84, of Pleasant Unity, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at home. She was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Tarrs, a daughter of the late William and Edna (Dunn) McBeth. Phyllis was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant, and enjoyed bowling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Teaters; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Teaters; two daughters, Kitty Sue Depta and husband, William, of Scottdale, and Jody Ellen Monticue, of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack McBeth; a sister, Lois Collite; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. David H. Clement officiating.
