Rebecca M. (Novak) Pravlik

Rebecca M. Pravlik, 57, of Norvelt, died Sunday, July 3, 2022 at home.  She was born May 1, 1965 in Latrobe, a daughter of James R. Sr. and Marcella K. (Dreistadt) Novak of Trauger.  She previously worked at Sony, Mt. Pleasant and the Sewing Factory in Norvelt.  She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United.  Rebecca enjoyed spending time with her family and grandsons and was looking forward to welcoming a granddaughter in the coming weeks.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Brian J. Pravlik, three children, Stephanie M. Suranski (fiancé Michael R. Kania) of Mt. Pleasant, Holly L. Pravlik (Jared B. Young) of Norvelt and John J. Pravlik (Christyn W. Delgross) of Norvelt, two grandsons, Levi W. Suranski and Dominic M. Kania, four sisters, Kimberly Firestone (Jay) of Pleasant Unity, Beverly Walters (Joseph) of Pleasant Unity, Natalie Bosco of Latrobe and Marcilynn Modecki (Adam) of Latrobe, her brother, James R. Novak, Jr. (Denise) of Mammoth and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  A private visitation was held the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity, followed by a funeral mass in St. Florian Catholic Church, with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.  Interment followed in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Greensburg, PA  15601.
