Richard "Ric" L. Edmunds

Richard L. “Ric” Edmunds, 62, of Hempfield Township, died peacefully surrounded by his family after a battle with Covid on Friday, January 1, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born September 12, 1958 in Greensburg, a son of the late Kenneth and Margaret Edmunds.  He had numerous managerial positions to include:  former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital, Nemacolin, the former Westmoreland Athletic Club, The Denistry and Lady Luck Casino.  He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg and was a former member of Hahntown VFD.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Gene Cerilli.  He is survived by his wife, Karen M. (Cerilli) Edmunds, two sons, Sean V. and Ian A. Edmunds both at home, a brother-in-law, Gene Cerilli and wife Christine, a nephew, Michal Cerilli and numerous cousins of the Cerilli and Iezzi families.  A private visitation and service for the family was held at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, with The Rev. Mark Dunmire as celebrant.  Interment followed in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Hempfield Township.  www.bachafh.com
