Scott L. Critchfield, 81, of Southwest Greensburg, died Friday, November 11, 2022, in his home. He was born February 9, 1941, in Ligonier, a son of the late Elmer and Bertha (Graver) Critchfield. He was an Army National Guard veteran. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Teledyne Vasco, Latrobe. Scott was a self-taught, master carpenter and an all-around handyman who could fix anything. He was a member of the F.& A.M. No. 331, Ligonier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Kozusko) Critchfield; and three siblings, Ford Critchfield, Wanda Cairns, and Guy Critchfield. He is survived by two sons, Scott G. Critchfield (Darlene Overly), and Joel P. Critchfield (Kim); four grandchildren, Katie C. Bucci (Daniel), Scott G. Critchfield II (Kaylee), Colin P. Critchfield, and Kyle J. Critchfield; his sister, Avice Chesla; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM Friday in the funeral home with Chaplain Tony Richardson officiating. www.bachafh.com
