Thomas H. Danser, 78, of Unity Township, died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born March 16, 1939, in Humphreys, a son of the late Clifford R. and Mary E. (Blank) Danser. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trauger, and had served in the Army. Prior to retirement, he worked at Smail Auto Group as an autobody mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald R., Orlo Patrick "Cutty" and Roy C. Danser; and four sisters, Sara Mears, Lorraine Clark, Flora Jean Wiley and Grace Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Lois J. (Tompkins) Danser; three daughters, Sharon Himler, and husband, Scott, of Latrobe, Debra Tucholski, and husband, Jim, of Mt. Pleasant, and Marcy Frydrych, and husband, Tony, of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Matt and Todd Himler, Conner and Haley Tucholski and Collin and Megan Frydrych; a brother, Frank Danser, of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Phyllis Arnold, of Humphreys; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. L. Samuel Scheiderer officiating.
